A 1st Global Convening on “Advancing measurement of HIPs – Scale and reach “, was organized as a two-part webinar series on May 14 & 15, 2024. The second global convening titled “Advancing Measurement of HIPs – Quality of implementation”, will be held on July 16 & 17, 2024.

A meeting to plan the second global convening titled “Advancing Measurement of HIPs – Quality of implementation”, took place in Nairobi, Kenya on June 3-5, 2024. In attendance were members of the global planning committee, namely representatives from FHI 360 (the host), EVIHDAF, Makerere University, Save the Children, UNFPA, USAID, and MOH representatives from Burkina Faso, Nigeria, Nepal, Uganda and Mozambique. Among the outcomes of the 3-day meeting were decisions on the date of the global convening (July 16-17, 2024), as well as the agenda, road map and keynote speakers. A few small working groups were also formed to draft or review the materials and logistics plan for the meeting.
