In December 2024, EVIHDAF’s Executive Director, Jean Christophe Fotso, participated at the Family Planning (FP) Technical Working Group meeting organized in Yaoundé, Cameroon, by the Ministry of Public Health, Department of Family Health. Together with other FP stakeholders, we shared the experience of our Agency for All project and more precisely, its Contraceptive Acceptability study in Cameroon.
As background, to improve family planning indicators, Cameroon has opted for the FP2030 commitment, which aims to increase the mCPR (Modern Contraceptive Prevalence Rate) from 15.4% to 30% by 2030 and reduce unmet needs from 23% to 10%.
