Finance Officer, EVIHDAF – Cameroon
As EVIHDAF’s Finance officer, Rene oversees entering accounting data into QuickBooks accounting software; reviewing and reconciling all partner expenses for validation; liquidating travel and cash advances, etc.
His previous experience in organizations like Centre for Health Promotion and Research (CHPR), and PLAN International has enabled him to have a proper mastery of finance and accounting principles as regards recording, processing and reporting financial transactions with strict respect of internal and donor regulations, meeting all expectations and attaining all required results.
Akunji is an accountant trained under the UK based ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) system with attainment of Part 3 of the ACCA training and an award of the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business. In addition to his accounting training and qualification, he equally holds a Certificate in Procurement and Logistics accredited by the UK based CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport).
