From September 14 – 15, 2023, the EVIHDAF staff was regrouped around a teambuilding session in Mbankomo, a suburb area of the Centre Region of Cameroon. The main aim of this come-together activity was to strengthen group cohesion around EVIHDAF’s shared vision, values, principles, and objectives. During these two days out of office, we focused on understanding EVIHDAF’s mission, vision, and values and what makes a great team? Our governing themes during this session were centered around the concepts of: team forming, team storming, team norming and team performing. Staff reflected on these questions and more to create a shared vision, strengthen best practices, and develop an organizational culture.
